About Regulations on the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. Approve Regulations on the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan it (is applied).

Regulations on the General Staff of Armed forces of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. General provisions

1. The General Staff of Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan (further - the General Staff) is the central body of operational management by Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan (further - Armed Forces) intended for realization of operational functions on management of Armed Forces, ensuring their high fighting capacity, the organization of interaction and coordination of activities of Border troops of the State committee of national security, Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, National guard, troops of Committee on emergency situations and civil defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, convoy crew of Head department of execution of the punishment of the Ministry of Justice, Agency on providing with special property under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on accomplishment of tasks in the field of defense in wartime and also mobilization readiness and mobilization in peace time.

With introduction of warlike situation in the General Staff the center of fighting management of Armed Forces which performs functions on management of other troops and military forming of the state according to orders and presidential decrees of the Republic Tajikistan Supreme Commander of Armed Forces is created.

- the organization of completing of Armed Forces, other troops and military forming by the military personnel undergoing military service;

- planning of providing Armed Forces with main types of arms, military, special equipment and appliances, and also accumulatings and placements of emergency rations of these means;

- the organization of service of troops and safety of military service in Armed Forces, development and realization of single technical policy for equipment and operation of technical means of protection of objects of Armed Forces:

- organization of events on protection of the state secret in Armed Forces and the organizations and organizations subordinated to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan, control of their realization.
