About defense
This Law determines bases and the organization of defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, power of public authorities and self-government institutions of settlements and villages, the companies, organizations, the organizations, officials and citizens in the field of defense.

The State committee of homeland security of the Republic of Tajikistan, National guard of the Republic of Tajikistan, Committee on emergency situations and civil defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Convoy crew of Head department of execution of criminal penalties of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan which carry out the tasks in the field of defense established by the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan are involved in defense using instruments of war. Armed Forces of other states on the basis of interstate agreements can participate in defense of the Republic of Tajikistan.
