About approval of the Regulations on military educational units of institutions of higher education

According to the Laws of Ukraine "About education", "About the higher education", "About conscription and military service", No. 48 "About approval of the Procedure for carrying out military training of citizens of Ukraine according to the program of training of reserve officers" and for the purpose of enhancement of regulatory framework for training of specialists in military educational units of institutions of higher education we ORDER to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 1, 2012:

1. Approve Regulations on military educational units of institutions of higher education which are applied.

2. (Kretovich S. S.) to submit to department of the higher education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine this order on state registration to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the procedure established by the legislation.

3. Declare invalid the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine of August 15, 2013 No. 1190/560 "About approval of the Regulations on military educational units of higher educational institutions", registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on September 6, 2013 for No. 1541/24073.

4. To impose control of execution of this order on the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Kovtunts V. V. and the First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rusnak I. S.

5. This order becomes effective from the date of its official publication.

Regulations on military educational units of institutions of higher education

I. General provisions

1. This Provision determines powers of governing bodies of military educational units (military institutes, military colleges, faculties, departments of military preparation, department of military preparation, department of medicine of catastrophic crashes and military medicine) of institutions of higher education (further - military educational units), features of the organization and implementation of educational activities in them, procedure for passing by staff of military service, use of military property, arms and military equipment.

4. Military educational units function on purpose:

preparation, retraining and advanced training of military specialists of appropriate levels of the higher education for passing of military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine formed according to the laws of Ukraine of other military forming, and also law enforcement agencies of special purpose and the Public special service of transport (further - the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military forming);

military training of citizens (further - citizens) according to the program of training of reserve officers;

organizations and carrying out scientific, scientific and technical, innovative and/or methodical activities;
