Regulations on post-doctoral studies

1. General provisions

1. The regulations on post-doctoral studies (further - the Provision) are developed according to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "About education", "About the higher and postgraduate professional education", "About scientific activities and state policy for science and technology" and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan and determine procedure for the organization and training in post-doctoral studies in institutions of higher professional education, research establishments of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The academic degree of the doctor хабилитат is awarded by council on protection of theses for degree of the doctor of philosophy (PhD) - doctors in the specialty, for degree of the doctor хабилитат (further - dissertation council) by results of public protection of the scientific thesis prepared during training in post-doctoral studies from the job seeker having academic degree of the doctor of philosophy (PhD) - doctors in the specialty.

7. The scientific thesis for degree of the doctor хабилитат is prepared by scientific and pedagogical personnel when training in post-doctoral studies in institutions of higher professional education and research establishments.
