About approval of the Regulations on grants to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic

For the purpose of stimulation of the high sporting achievements strengthening image of the Kyrgyz Republic on the international scene according to article 6 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About physical culture and sport", articles 10 and 17 of the constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Approve Regulations on grants to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic according to appendix.

2. To the state agency on cases of youth, physical culture and sport under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to perform issue of grants to winners, prize-winners of complex sports international competitions within the means provided for the corresponding year.

3. Recognize invalid:

- The order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About grants to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic" of August 23, 2011 No. 492;

- The order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About modification and amendments in the Order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About grants to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic" of August 23, 2011 No. 492" of August 21, 2014 No. 475;

- Item 3 of the Order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "About entering of amendments and changes into some decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" of December 2, 2015 No. 820;

Regulations on grants to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic

1. General provisions

1. This Provision determines the sizes, procedure for appointment and payment of monthly grants to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic for sports.

2. Grants are paid to the leading athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic from the means of authorized state body in the field of physical culture and sport provided for the corresponding year.

3. Athletes - the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are members of national teams of the Kyrgyz Republic on sports can be scholars.

2. Sizes and payment procedure of grants

4. The sizes of grants are established depending on the sports results shown by athletes within calendar year within budget financing of authorized state body in the field of physical culture and sport and paid to scholars on monthly basis. Grants are divided by the Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic sports on 7 categories, by national sports - on 3 categories and by not Olympic sports - on 4 categories:

1) Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic sports:

- The I category - 75,0 (seventy five) thousand som;

- The II category - 60,0 (sixty) thousand som;

- III category - 50,0 (fifty) thousand som;

- The IV category - 40,0 (forty) thousand som;

- The V category - 30,0 (thirty) thousand som;

- The VI category - 20,0 (twenty) thousand som;

- The VII category - 10,0 (ten) thousand som;

2) national sports:

- The I category - 25,0 (twenty five) thousand som;

- The II category - 20,0 (twenty) thousand som;

- III category - 15,0 (fifteen) thousand som;

3) not Olympic sports:

- The I category - 20,0 (twenty) thousand som;

- The II category - 15,0 (fifteen) thousand som;

- III category - 10,0 (ten) thousand som;

- The IV category - 8,0 (eight) thousand som.

5. The grant is appointed for a period of one year. Purpose of grant is made by the decision of authorized body in the field of physical culture and sport from the first following after month in which the athlete executes the criteria specified in Chapter 3 this provision. If the World Cup and the sports Championship of Asia is held every two years, for the taken prizes in the specified competitions the grant is appointed for a period of two years. In case of gain the athlete of prize-winning places in several types of competitions, the grant is appointed on the highest indicator.
