For ensuring legal regulation of removal from operation of nuclear power plants and research nuclear reactors and accomplishment of provisions of the Memorandum of understanding between the Government of Ukraine and the governments of the countries of "Group of Seven" and the Commission of the European commonwealth concerning closing of the Chernobyl NPP of December 20, 1995, taking into account the agreements reached on April 19-20, 1996 during the Moscow summit concerning nuclear safety and on accomplishment of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 22, 1997 1445, and also according to articles 18 and 39 of the Law of Ukraine "About use of nuclear energy and radiation safety" I ORDER to No.:
1. Approve General provisions of safety in case of removal from operation of nuclear power plants and research nuclear reactors which are applied.
2. Costitute General provisions of safety in case of removal from operation of nuclear power plants and research nuclear reactors after state registration in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and establish the term of the first check of observance of these provisions - November, 2000.
3. Consider Item 5.6 of Section 5 of "General provisions of safety of nuclear power plants" (OPB-88) PNAEG-1-011-89 such that is not applied in the territory of Ukraine.
