About some questions of enhancement of public administration in the field of tourism and tourist activities

For the purpose of enhancement of public administration in the field of tourism and tourist activities, ensuring effective development of the tourist industry and optimization of structure of federal executive bodies I decide:

1. Transfer to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation functions on development and realization of state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of tourism and tourist activities, on coordination of sales activity of the priority directions of state regulation of tourist activities in the Russian Federation, and also on implementation of the state supervision of activities of tour operators and merging of tour operators in the field of outbound tourism.

2. Determine that the Federal Tourism Agency is under authority of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

3. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of 21.01.2020 No. 21

4. To the government of the Russian Federation:

a) provide the solution of the organizational, financial, material and other matters connected with implementation of this Decree;

b) in 6-month time to bring the acts into accord with this Decree.

5. Recognize invalid Item 10 in the part concerning transfer of function on coordination of sales activity of the priority directions of state regulation of tourist activities in the Russian Federation to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Item 11 of the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of May 21, 2012 as No. 636 "About structure of federal executive bodies" (The Russian Federation Code, 2012, No. 22, the Art. 2754).

6. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its signing.
