This Law determines legal, organizational, social and economic basis of development, consideration and approval of the state forecasts, concepts, strategy and programs of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
- forecasts of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan - evidence-based hypothesis of the probable future social and economic, it is scientific - technical, ecological and external economic condition of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the indicators characterizing this condition;
- the state forecasting of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan - the activities of executive bodies of the government and business entities on development and adjustment of forecasts of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan used for the purpose of decision making on initial stages of plan development and programs as the instrument of scientific anticipation, the stsenariyny analysis (alternative) and receipts of the additional information;
