About issuance of turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias

According to Articles 7, 15, 33, 34, 35 and 56 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", for the purpose of ensuring currency circulation Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of RESHILO:

1. Introduce into circulation since April 27, 2018 turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias.

2. Turnover coins nominals 1 and 2 hryvnias are the legal means of payment in the territory of Ukraine which are in circulation together with coins nominal 1 hryvnia and banknotes nominal 1 and 2 hryvnias of previous years of production and are obligatory to:

1) to acceptance on their nominal value all physical persons and legal entities without any limit in all territory of Ukraine on all payment types;

2) to transfer into accounts, deposits, letters of credit;

3) to implementation of the translations.

3. To banknote mint (Baglay of VA.) provide production of turnover coins with nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias (within planned production volume for 2018) and their shipment to the Central storage in accordance with the established procedure.

4. To the central storage (Kalensky N. N.) in accordance with the established procedure to perform reinforcement of inventories of cash of departments (management) of currency circulation in regions of Department of currency circulation of the National Bank of Ukraine, Central storage and Operations department turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias.

5. To department (management) of currency circulation in regions of Department of currency circulation of the National Bank of Ukraine and to the Central storage in accordance with the established procedure to perform reinforcement of banks of Ukraine turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias.

6. To provide to banks of Ukraine acceptance from clients of turnover coins with nominal value 1 both 2 hryvnias and issue of coins of these nominals without restrictions according to the procedure, established by regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine concerning currency circulation.

7. To department of currency circulation (Zayvenko V. P.) to bring contents of this decision to the attention of departments (management) of currency circulation in regions of Department of currency circulation of the National Bank of Ukraine, Central storage, Operations department and banks of Ukraine for use in work.

8. To information directorate and public communications (Bondarenko N. M.) to place information on introduction into circulation of turnover coins nominal value 1 and 2 hryvnias on the page of official Internet representative office of the National Bank of Ukraine.

9. Control over the implementation of this decision to assign to the First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Smoliya Ya. V.

10. The decision becomes effective from the date of its signing.
