Regulations on rates of training of transport drivers and increase in their qualification

I. General provisions

1.1. This Provision is prepared according to the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic "About application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About traffic" of November 22, 1998 No. 24.

1.2. Training of transport drivers and increase in their qualification are performed in educational institutions and on the rates provided with material and technical resources and technical and methodical educational means, which got permission in the procedure established by the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, registered by Management of the State road traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs based on the data received from the Ministry of taxes of the Azerbaijan Republic. The drivers performing international and internal passenger and cargo transportation motor transportation means of general use shall have training on the Azerbaijan Republic approved by the Cabinet of Ministers to the special program about professional activity and behavior, and also features of operational mode and rest, including to have necessary knowledge of the regulatory legal acts regulating goods and passenger traffic by road transport.

II. Organization of training of transport drivers and increase in their qualification

2.1. The educational system of training of transport drivers and increase in their qualification reflect in themselves following:

a) The term of training of drivers in control of vehicles of category "C" and "D" constitutes to 3,5 of month, training in control of vehicles of categories "A" and "B", trams and trolleybuses constitutes to 2,5 of month, and to control of vehicles of category "A1" to 1,5 of month, and in educational institutions is performed according to curricula, programs and school hours.
