1. These rules establish requirements to evaluating compliance and form of assessment of conformity of products at stages of its lifecycle applied on nuclear power plants, constructions and complexes with research nuclear reactors, critical and subcritical nuclear stands (further for the purposes of these rules - subjects to use of atomic energy), and also systems of non-destructive testing, complexes of technical means of physical protection of nuclear materials, nuclear installations, Items of storage of nuclear materials.

3. These rules extend to assessment of conformity of the following types of products:

a) products applied on subject to use of atomic energy as the elements of subject to use of atomic energy carried according to federal regulations and rules of use of atomic energy to 1, to 2 and 3 classes of safety, except for nuclear materials and spent nuclear fuel;

b) fuel elements and assemblies, including working cartridges, regulating authorities of management systems and the protection applied in active zones of reactors of nuclear power plants and research nuclear installations;
