forming and carrying out effective state policy in the sphere of information, for the purpose of development of infocommunication complex.

14. Tasks:

1) participation in realization of state policy in the field of mass media and TV and radio broadcasting;

2) implementation of state regulation in the field of TV and radio broadcasting and mass media;

3) international cooperation in the field of mass media within the competence according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) implementation of management of the corresponding industry (sphere) of public administration;

5) respect for the principle of meritocracy in case of acceptance for work and promotion of employees;

6) implementation of other tasks assigned to Committee within the competence;

7) implementation of state regulation in the field of TV and radio broadcasting and mass media.
