About application of trigger protective measure concerning some types of underwear, kidswear and accessories to kidswear coming from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and imported on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union

According to article 50 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, based on Article 2.10 of the Free-trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its state members, on the one hand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the other hand, of May 29, 2015 (further - the Agreement) and the Procedure for application of trigger protective measures within the Free-trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its state members, on the one hand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the other hand, of the May 29, 2015 approved by the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of October 18, 2016 No. 115, Board of the Eurasian economic commission solved:

1. Apply trigger protective measure to the following goods coming from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and imported on customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union using tariff preferences according to the Agreement:

a) the underwear classified by codes 6107, of 6108, of 6207, of 6208, of 6212 CN FEA EEU. Establish effective period of trigger protective measure of 9 months;

b) the kidswear and belongings to kidswear classified by codes 6111 20, the 6111th 30, the 6111th 90, 6209 CN FEA EEU. Establish effective period of trigger protective measure of 6 months.

2. Determine that trigger protective measure is applied in the form of import customs duty which type and the size correspond to type and the size of rate of the import customs duty of the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union applied concerning the goods specified in Item 1 of this Decision for date of the introduction of this Decision in force.

3. This Decision shall enter into force upon the expiry of 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
