About measures for implementation of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of December 26, 2017 No. 462

According to part two of Item 3 of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of December 26, 2017 "About establishment of visa-free procedure for entrance and departure of foreign citizens" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 462

1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on procedure for visit by citizens of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" or the special tourist and recreational park "August Channel" and the territories adjoining to it.

2. Establish:

the document form, the right to individual visit of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" or the special tourist and recreational park "August Channel" and the territories adjoining to it granting to citizens, according to appendix 1;

the document form, the right to group visit of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" or the special tourist and recreational park "August Channel" and the territories adjoining to it granting to citizens, according to appendix 2.

3. Declare invalid the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of May 15, 2015 No. 414 "About some questions of visit by foreign citizens of National park "Bialowieza Forest" (The national legal Internet portal of the Republic of Belarus, 20.05. 2015, 5/40547).

4. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2018.

Regulations on procedure for visit by citizens of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" or the special tourist and recreational park "August Channel" and the territories adjoining to it

1. This Provision determines procedure for visit by citizens of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest", the special tourist and recreational park "August Channel" and the territories adjoining to it (further – the August Channel park) in the tourist purposes for a period of up to ten days.

This Provision extends to citizens according to the list of the states concerning which citizens the visa-free procedure for entrance and departure according to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of December 26, 2017 No. 462 "About establishment of visa-free procedure for entrance and departure of foreign citizens" is established (further – the Decree).

2. Entry into the Republic of Belarus for visit of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest", the August Channel park, departure from the Republic of Belarus are performed at the check points determined by the Decree.

3. The term of stay of citizens in case of visa-free entry into the Republic of Belarus and departure from the Republic of Belarus at the check points determined by the Decree constitutes the term of the tour realized by the tourist operators rendering services in the territory of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest", the August Channel park.

In case of acquisition by citizens of additional tourist services * stay term according to the petition of citizens is prolonged by the tourist operators rendering services in the territory of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest", the August Channel park about what the tourist operator sends the adequate notice to the body determined by part four of Item 8 of this provision.

Tour term, including in case of its prolongation, shall not exceed term, stipulated in Item 1 this provision.

* For the purposes of this provision additional tourist services are understood as tourist services which acquisition within the tour realized by the tourist operator rendering services in the territory of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" or the August Channel park attracts increase in term of stay of citizens (additional hotel accommodation or similar means of placement, additional excursions, services of transfer and other services).

4. The territories entering the tourist and recreational zone "Brest", the territories adjacent to the August Channel park are determined by the Decree.

5. Citizens arrive to the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" and the August Channel park based on the following documents:

the valid passport or other document replacing it, intended for trip abroad and issued by relevant organ of the state of civil accessory or the international organization (further – the document for trip abroad);

the document granting to citizens the right to visit of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest", the August Channel park in form according to appendices 1 and 2 to the resolution approving this Provision (further – the document on the visit right).

6. For the benefit of the citizens ordering or intending to order services in visit of the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" or the August Channel park, documents on the right of visit can be filled in in foreign language.

The text of documents on the visit right in foreign language shall correspond to the text of documents on the visit right in Russian or Belarusian.

7. For filling and (or) issue of documents on the visit right the payment is not levied.
