About the Doctrine of homeland food security of the Republic of Belarus till 2030
For the purpose of realization of state policy in the field of ensuring the homeland food security directed to increase in security with high-quality food and its availability to good nutrition and healthy lifestyle of the population by development of competitive agrarian production and creation of social and economic conditions for consumption of food at the rational level, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Approve the Doctrine of homeland food security of the Republic of Belarus till 2030 it (is applied).
2. To provide to national academy of Sciences of Belarus monitoring of homeland food security and annually till July 1 to inform Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus on its results.
3. Declare invalid the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of March 10, 2004 No. 252 "About the Concept of homeland food security of the Republic of Belarus" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2004, No. 42, 5/13930).

Now the country completely provides the needs for food, however allows up to 15 percent of import products on the national market. Export of agrofood products is increased.
At the same time in the food sphere number of unresolved tasks, including increase in production efficiency and decrease in product cost, efficiency of export and competition in the foreign market, creation of the integrated companies, building of steady agrofood system within the Eurasian Economic Union remains (further – EEU).
Besides, the Republic of Belarus as the subject of world food system, providing achievement of national priorities in the field of social and economic availability to the population of enough safe and nutritious food, shall consider global tendencies of food security and food.
Now the population of Belarus in a quantitative sense reaches consumption regulations practically on all food, however the diet remains unbalanced on quality. Transition to the new level of development to safe high-quality food of all social groups, forming of premises to which in the form of criteria and standard rates of food supply is the integral task of this Doctrine, is necessary.
Set of evidence-based provisions, purposes and tasks of long-term state policy in the field of providing and strengthening of food security, and also mechanisms and measures for their practical realization is fixed by this Doktrina.
