1. Agree with the offer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on creation in its structure within the established number of staff of the press service which activities to organize based on:

services on interaction with mass media of the Main organizational and inspection and information and analytical Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

press groups of organizational and inspection and information and analytical Regional Offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent and Departments of Internal Affairs of areas.

2. Form in system of the press service Management for public relations and mass media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan which main objectives to determine:

coordination of work on information maintenance of activities of law-enforcement bodies, the organizations of meetings and briefings of their officials with representatives of the public and institutes of civil society, open direct dialogue with citizens on ensuring public safety and strengthening of law and order in the country;

creation of necessary conditions and acceptance of complex measures for timely and reliable bringing to the population of information on activities of law-enforcement bodies in the field of protection of public order, prevention of offenses and fight against crime;

rendering organizational and methodical assistance of activities of the press services of territorial authorities of internal affairs, ensuring their close interaction with representatives of the public and mass media of the republic;

ensuring the round-the-clock monitoring and the analysis of materials of mass media and the world information Internet, immediate response to the publications containing doubtful or encroaching on authority of law-enforcement bodies of the data;

the organization of effective functioning of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, systematic placement on it information materials, and also control and coordination of web resources of structural divisions of law-enforcement bodies.

3. Determine that the head of department for public relations and mass media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on position at the same time is the press secretary of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

4. Create in management structure for public relations and mass media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan the media center which main activities to determine:

preparation and implementation of media projects on systematic informing the population on topical issues of protection of public order, prevention of offenses and fight against crime, to attraction it to assistance in their realization;

timely, extended and reliable coverage on TV channels of criminal country situation, its objective assessment for the purpose of non-admission of distribution of unreliable and other information about activities of law-enforcement bodies;

assistance in establishing open direct dialogue of officials of law-enforcement bodies with the population, broad involvement of the public for discussion and the solution of pressing problems of citizens and topical issues of protection of public order, prevention of offenses and fight against crime on places.
