Approve:

1. Regulations on the State committee of veterinary science according to appendix No. 1;

Regulations on procedure for use and forming of fund of development of veterinary service of the State committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 2.

2. To the state committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Uzbekistan in a month:

develop and approve regulations (charters) on Committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Veterinary Departments of areas and the city of Tashkent, and also the state veterinary bodies and organizations entering into structure of the State committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

3. Make changes and additions to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 3.

4. To the ministries and departments to bring the normative legal documents accepted by them into accord with this resolution in a month.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister - the minister of agricultural and water economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. T. Mirzayev and the acting as the chairman of the State committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. T. Norkobilov.

Regulations on the State committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. This Provision determines the status, the main objectives, functions, powers and responsibility, and also procedure for the organization of activities of the State committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - Committee).

The committee is the state body performing single state policy in the sphere of the organization and supervision of further development of veterinary service, including of timely identification, diagnosing and prevention of infectious diseases of animals for ensuring epizootic wellbeing, ensuring the state supervision over observance of veterinary legislative documents, preventions of offenses in the field of veterinary science behind quality control and turnover of veterinary medicines and feed additives.

3. The committee submits and is accountable to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

4. The committee of veterinary science of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, veterinary managements of areas and Tashkent, district (city) veterinary departments, Management of the state veterinary supervision on frontier and transport, the Republican state center of diagnosis of diseases of animals and safety of food, the State scientific center for quality control and turnover of veterinary medicines and feed additives, the state centers of diagnosis of diseases of animals and safety of food of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, areas and areas (cities), Research institution of veterinary science (further - the state veterinary bodies and organizations) constitute single structure of Committee.

Chapter 2. Main objectives and functions of Committee

10. The main objectives of Committee are:

implementation of single state policy in the field of veterinary science, coordination of interaction of bodies of the public and economic board in the sphere of veterinary science, licensing of veterinary activities;

development of state programs on further development of veterinary service, ensuring protection of import to the territory of the country of infectious diseases of animals, implementation in practice of modern methods of treatment and prevention of diseases of animals, development of new types and forms of veterinary medicines by application of domestic and foreign scientific achievements;

implementation of the preventive measures directed to monitoring of ensuring epizootic wellbeing, ensuring early identification, diagnostics and the prevention of spread of infectious diseases of animals;

ensuring the state supervision in the sphere of compliance with law about veterinary science, timely development and realization of system and high-quality measures for prevention of offenses in this sphere;

coordination of departmental and productive activity of veterinary service on protection of animals against diseases, safety of products and raw materials of animal origin;

control of quality and turnover of veterinary medicines and feed additives;
