About measures for further enhancement of activities of educational institutions of secondary vocational, professional education

For the purpose of cardinal improvement of quality and efficiency of educational process in the academic lyceums, concentration in the academic lyceums of the most gifted graduates of comprehensive schools, further expansion of conditions for the requirements satisfaction of graduates of comprehensive schools in acquisition of the chosen professions and specialties:

1. To accept the offers of the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center of secondary vocational, professional education of the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education of the Republic of Uzbekistan providing implementation of measures for optimization of number of the academic lyceums functioning in the republic, radical improvement of quality of educational process in the academic lyceums, in particular:

abolition of four academic lyceums with rather low level of material and educational and pedagogical base according to appendix No. 1 * with the termination of admittance of students on the 1st rates of the abolished academic lyceums since 2017/2018 academic years;

step-by-step transformation of 54 academic lyceums with the lowest indicators of activities in professional colleges according to appendix No. 2 *;

completion in accordance with the established procedure training of the school enrollment of the 2nd and 3rd rates of the transformed academic lyceums in the existing training programs and conditions of training in buildings of the transformed academic lyceums;

the program of measures for further increase in efficiency of educational process and increase in indicators of arrival of graduates of the academic lyceums in the highest educational institutions according to appendix No. 3*.

2. To consider along with earlier assigned major tasks and activities of the academic lyceums:

selection of the most gifted pupils of comprehensive schools, further development of their mental abilities and target profound preparation for continuation of training in the highest educational institutions;
